Here’s what we know…

Coming to a new space and meeting brand new people for the first time can be intimidating and nerve-racking. We totally get that!

So, we want to help make your first experience at Citypoint Church a great one!

Here’s what you need to know…

  • In total, an average Citypoint service is about 80-85 minutes in length.

Services begin with our worship team leading in music. Song lyrics are projected onto the screen so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable.

After the music portion of service is complete, our pastor will come up to share a message from Scripture.

  • That’s a great question!

We are passionate about intentional, engaging, vertical worship. That’s just a neat way of saying, “We are here for God. We sing songs about God. We sing songs to God.”

Our preaching is unapologetically Scriptural. We take God’s Word and we preach it. Paragraph by paragraph, and we ask and trust Him to make application in our lives.

Our messages are from the ESV translation. However you are more than welcomed to bring whichever translation you are most comfortable.

If you do not have a physical copy of the Bible, one will be provided underneath the seat in front of you in our Worship Center.

If you would like, you can download a digital copy!

  • You’re not just a number here, or a warm body in a seat. We don’t want you to just to attend, we want you to belong.

Relationships are important to us because relationships are important to God.

Because of that, Sundays at Citypoint are exciting, casual, and relaxed.

Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.

We want you to be known because you are loved!

  • We highly value the privileged responsibility it is to disciple children in Citypoint Kids.

Our desire at Citypoint Kids is to create and cultivate a safe, belonging and fun place for children to experience the Love of God and discover what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.

Your kid’s safety is top priority. Because of that, we have a secure check-in process, team member screening and training for all involved in Citypoint Kids.

Make sure to leave yourself some extra time before service to get your kids checked in -and so we can get to know them!

You can cut down some of that time by pre-registering your child!

  • We fully acknowledge the struggle that being without reliable transportation can present. We truly wish we had a “one-size-fits-all” option for you, but unfortunately we do not.

Here is what we can offer for TEMPE residents. The Orbit Bus is a FREE public transit option that has multiple lines throughout the city. There is a designated stop right in front of our church on Southern Ave, as well as the Tempe Public Library less than 1/4 mile from our campus.

If you would like more information about this free city of Tempe transit option, click HERE!

  • We have 2 front parking lots to the West and East of our Worship Center on Southern Ave. Our desire is to reserve these lots for guests, for parents with small children and for those with physical limitations.

The East lot will have clear signage directing towards an additional large parking lot in the rear of our property.

  • We know you were thinking it…

    ABSOLUTELY!

We know that it can be alot to get the family up and ready and out of the home in a timely manner.

Stop by our Hospitality Cart for coffee, water, or a baked good.

  • 100%

Every 5-6 weeks we host something called Consider. It is a brief meeting where you are able to learn more about who we are as Citypoint Church, how to join us in our rhythms and you’ll be able to ask questions.

Be sure to stop by our Next Steps Counter in our lobby and let one of our leaders know if you're interested in that.
